Europe's Top 5 Android Hack and Slash Apps Q4 2023 Performance Recap

As the final quarter of 2023 wrapped up, the hack and slash genre on Android saw interesting trends in Europe. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into the performance of the top 5 applications in this category.

MARVEL Future Fight by Netmarble from South Korea showed a revenue peak in late November at around $149K, with a notable spike in weekly active users (WAU) reaching approximately 230K in early November. Downloads saw an increase to over 10K in mid-November but dipped to around 4K by year-end.

China's miHoYo Limited presented Honkai Impact 3rd - Part 2, which experienced its highest revenue in late October at $95K, while downloads remained fairly consistent, hovering around 6K to 7K weekly. Active users showed a slight decrease from around 77K in late September to 62K by the end of December.

Hong Kong's Yoozoo brought Legacy of Discord-FuriousWings to the table, with revenues reaching a high of around $28K in mid-October. The game's downloads and active users were quite low, with minimal download activity and active users peaking at 1.3K in mid-October before dropping to just 10 by the end of December.

Another title from Hong Kong, Punishing: Gray Raven by KURO TECHNOLOGY, saw its highest revenue at the start of the quarter with roughly $44K, while downloads peaked at over 6K in early October. Weekly active users started at approximately 13K and saw a decline to 10K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Idle Berserker X Sweet Home from South Korea's CookApps showed an impressive surge in downloads to over 28K in mid-November. The revenue for this game also peaked around mid-October at roughly $28K, with active users reaching a high of over 93K in the third week of November.
